It can be hard to ask for support or connect with a new therapist, especially if you haven’t always had positive experiences of health professionals. We support people from a range of backgrounds and pride ourselves in being accepting and inclusive of our Queer, trans, and gender diverse communities as well as disabled and neurodivergent young people and adults.

Counselling

Many of our reravel clients feel overwhelmed with personal, relationship or life challenges and are seeking help to manage each day a little better and feel more hopeful for their future.

We help people with a range of personal issues such as:

• mental health
• relationships
• gender and sexuality
• disability
• trauma

Reravel also see people who are wanting to understand themselves more, or to create personal change and growth.

We offer professional counselling services to adults and young people 6+

We are available to people worldwide on Telehealth, or in person at our clinic in Samford, QLD.

NDIS Therapy Supports

We are a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and support participants who are self-managed, plan-managed and agency managed. We have been working in the scheme since it began, and have family members who are NDIS participants – so we bring significant personal and professional experience to support people with disabilities. We help with:

• Education and support for you to understand your NDIS and your plan, and providing recommendations and ideas for how you can use your NDIS funds
• Advice for steps you can take when you are not happy with a planning outcome, or if you need to make changes to your plan or have used your funds
• Social Work therapy services to assist you to build healthy relationships, connect with community and meaningful activities, keep yourself safe and work towards your personal goals.
• Occupational Therapy reports and recommendations required for the NDIS including functional assessments, complex home modifications, assistive technology and specialist disability accommodation reports.

Occupational Therapy

At Reravel, we help people to maximise their wellbeing and increase their participation in activities that are meaningful to them. Our Occupational Therapist conducts formal assessments for adults and children and will provide recommendations for changes to your environment, supports, activities or assistive technology.

Our Occupational Therapist specialises in assessments and reports for the National Disability Insurance Scheme using the format, tools and language preferred by NDIA :

• Functional assessments and reports
• Assistive technology assessments and reports
• Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Home and Living assessments and reports
• Pre-planning and plan review reports

Please note – due to the very high demand for Occupational Therapy services, our OT is currently unable to provide ongoing therapy to clients.
